Chablis 2019
Source : Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2019 Chablis Village has a malic, Granny Smith apple and dewy meadow nose, more reminiscent of a cooler growing season like 2017. The palate is brisk and breezy on the entry, presenting notes of freshly sliced pear and gooseberry and a touch of black pepper; later, menthol surfaces toward the finish, which is more complex than expected. This is a very well-crafted Chablis Village.

Aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, almonds, white flowers and beeswax preface the 2019 Chablis Village, a medium to full-bodied, rich and satiny wine that's concentrated and flavorful, concluding with a saline finish.

Chablis 2019
Source : Allen Meadows - 2019
An airy, cool and lightly perfumed nose offers up notes of ocean breeze, iodine, green apple and a touch of citrus zest. The relatively refined if less concentrated flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying tension that carries over to the balanced, very dry and sneaky long finish. This is lovely and very Chablis in basic character.
